periSTART – the easy way to get started with Single Pair Ethernet

The periSTART is a hybrid SPE media converter that connects classic Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX) networks with Single Pair Ethernet (100BASE-T1). This bridges the gap between IT systems and field devices. In addition, the periSTART reliably supplies all connected components with 24VDC via the hybrid cable.You benefit from simple installation, robust construction (IP65/67, –40 °C to +70 °C), and integrated security such as TLS encryption, role and certificate management.

Functions such as automatic device search, remote updates, and REST API make integration particularly convenient.

The periSTART thus enables a quick and secure entry into SPE-based smart building and industrial applications.
