periMICA – the modular edge computer for IoT and smart buildings
The periMICA is an open, modular edge device that has been specially developed for IoT applications in the field. It enables container-based applications to be run locally – similar to in the cloud – making migration between the field and IT levels particularly easy.
Thanks to its modular hardware architecture, users can flexibly combine processor, function, and supply modules – for example, for additional USB ports, GPIOs, or prototyping. Containerized software packages such as MQTT broker, Modbus TCP bridge, or dashboard editor facilitate integration and customization.
With a robust housing, secure communication (mTLS, REST API), and an open software platform, periMICA offers maximum flexibility for collecting and processing data directly on site and securely integrating it into IT systems.
