Regiolux is a successful medium-sized family business for high-quality lighting systems in the field of technical lighting. The company was founded in 1952 and is located in Königsberg/Bavaria. Our successful market position is based on a broad product range for interior lighting.

We can react to projects and individual requirements with balanced lighting solutions as well as sophisticated and energy-efficient lighting technology. We support our partners worldwide with this high-quality product portfolio.

The firm of Fränkische Rohrwerke, which had been successfully active on the market since 1906, only produced tubes during the summer months in the post-war period. The reason for this was its great dependence on customers from the building trade. In order to compensate for these seasonal fluctuations and therefore be able to offer safe jobs the whole year round, Fränkische acquired the firm of Profilux in 1952 and shifted production of the luminaires to Königsberg. Regiolux was born! The company founder, Dr. Auguste Kirchner, based the name of the new company on the famous astronomer and mathematician from Königsberg, Regiomontanus, thus creating a further link to the region. Since then, Königsberg has been famous for not only tubes but luminaires too.
