Surge protection measures are therefore of great importance to protect PV systems from damage and to ensure their safety. They represent an important measure of preventive fire and personal protection.

 

With the PV BOX device series, J. Pröpster GmbH offers pre-assembled, ready-to-connect surge protection for the DC side of PV systems.

The PV BOX is available as a type 1+2 combination arrester and as a type 2 surge arrester as well as for single and dual MPP tracker applications.

The device series is available with push-in terminals and alternatively with MC4 connectors for quick connection without tools.

The compact, universal surge protection devices are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and for grounded and non-grounded PV systems.
